Good morning Lovelies,
Today, I want to let you all in on a personal note. The Agulto Family's entire life, being and existence changed on Thanksgiving Day last year. The most beautiful little girl was born, put into my husband's arms and our hearts were forever filled. Penelope has been the light of our life for a few months new and every single day is a new adventure with her. She is an incredible little girl and is always laughing, smiling and full of energy.
Last night was a rough night for us. She usually sleeps through the entire night (I know I know... we are super lucky and grateful for the sleep.). She did not want to sleep at all! We didn't know what to do. Parent panic mode set in. Sleep deprivation was creeping up slowly. And we did it. We broke down. We let her sleep in our bed. Dum. Dum. Dum. All the things you read about co-sleeping and not to let your children get used it it, they won't ever leave your bed and so on kept me up ALL NIGHT. I could not fall asleep even after she did and she was fine.
Hubby and baby snored away. Cats curled up at the foot of the bed as per ritual and I laid there all night trying not to toss and turn too much, but I was restless. After countless hours of waking up and falling asleep and waking up and falling asleep, the sun rose and our little girl turned her head towards me and smiled. It was the sweetest smile. It filled my heart and gave me the energy that a good night's rest would have. I couldn't help but snap this photo of her and her milk dribble. My little princess. You, child, are not sleeping in our bed again tonight, but your visit and my sleepless tirade last night was well worth the smile you shared with the world this morning.
Have a beautiful day lovelies! Get your smile on and share it with the world!
